June 13, 2018 – CES Asia 2018, the premier event for the consumer technology industry in China, showcasing the full breadth and depth of the innovation value-chain in the Asian marketplace, kicked off its fourth annual show today in Shanghai, China. More than 500 exhibitors and 100 startup companies are expected to attend.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies China (H+K China) is pleased to align as a communications partner of CES Asia™, marking the third year in a row that it has done so. H+K China will be working with  the show’s regional producer and owner, International CES (Shanghai) Exhibition Co. Ltd., and co-producer Shanghai Intex, Ltd. (Shanghai Intex).

On a global scale, CES Asia is owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which represents the $351 billion U.S. consumer technology industry. This year’s show will put a spotlight on the full arc of the technology eco-system in the Asia-Pacific market. Featured topics include: the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, virtual and augmented reality, 5G and mobility. For the first time, CES Asia this year will introduce artificial intelligence as a new product category. It will additionally display the largest collection of vehicle and startup technologies ever assembled in one spot.
