With the London office working closely with La Liga, the Spanish football chiefs extended their work to the UAE for an ambassador activation which saw an action packed couple of days in Dubai.

Former Barcelona man Patrick Kluivert, in his ambassadorial role for the league fronted the visit along with former Real Madrid defender, turned La Liga director, Fernando Sanz.

Forming the visit, Kluivert took part in an exclusive Q&A with social media influencers at Dubai Mall’s new Nike Store.

At the event the former Dutch and Barcelona forward answered questions on everything from his favorite El Clasico moments to reminiscing about his long-standing Champions League record goal (go on, have a guess at what record he holds, the answer is below).

A visit to La Liga’s Dubai academy followed with meet and greets with children and coaching tips, before Kluivert and Sanz spoke to Asia’s media on La Liga, their fond memories of the league, its worldwide growth, and of course, “how good is Lionel Messi.”
