Qatar sent its largest team ever to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, presenting a huge opportunity for the nation to inspire and engage young Qataris through the power of sport.

H+K developed the #YallaQatar campaign to encourage the whole nation to unite in support of their Olympic heroes.

Through an online ‘Olympic Dreams’ film series, highly visual digital content, a hugely successful social media competition to win a trip to Rio, and a Twibbon campaign fronted by Qatar’s Royal Family, we raised awareness about Team Qatar, generated Olympic fever and compelled millions of Qataris to show their support.

The campaign generated a digital reach of 135 million, with 48 million video views and 9.5 million engagements. News articles appeared in their hundreds, whilst more than 5,500 people added the YallaQatar Twibbon to their profile
