Hill+Knowlton Strategies APac Chairman, Vivian Lines, presented with Individual Achievement Award at 2018 Asia-Pacific Sabre Awards
H+K’s Global Vice Chairman and Asia-Pacific Chairman, Vivian Lines, has been honoured with the Outstanding Individual Achievement SABRE Award at the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, celebrating his successful career and leadership within the public relations industry.
Viv is one of H+K’s longest standing employees with 34 years under his belt: from London to the Middle East, and now 25 years in Asia, taking on regional leadership in 2004, and adding the Global Vice Chair position in 2011.
On receiving the accolade, Viv said, “I am honoured to receive such tremendous recognition within our industry. This may be an award for individuals, but I have been incredibly fortunate to work with so many talented colleagues along the way who have all played a part in us achieving great successes. Every day I feel proud to work alongside my fellow H+Kers as we continue to push boundaries for our clients across the Asia-Pacific region.”
H+K’s Global CEO, Jack Martin, shared his best wishes for the announcement: “Around H+K, Viv is practically an institution, and for good reason: he’s provided leadership and guidance at virtually every level of our global organization, and is an active participant in our client work, business development, global strategy and cultural transformation. But even more than all that, Viv is the consummate gentleman and team player, and I am so very honored and proud to call him my friend and colleague. Congratulations Viv.”
The SABRE Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the communications industry, rewarding campaigns and agencies from across the Asia-Pacific Region. This year’s ceremony took place on 11th September at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Singapore.
